The Ceremonial or Warrior's Lance is carried in ceremonies to honor the bravery and success of their owner against the tribe's enemies. The lance is adorned with feathers representing the eagle to bring to the lance's owner the power and freedom of the highest flier in the sky. Each feather also marks a coup, or battle success. It is made with Saguaro rib and trimmed with buckskin, beads, and bone buttons. The leather is buckskin and hand strung beading with leather wrapping for decorative appeal. It measures about 57-1/2" including the 5-1/2" bone tip. Non Indian made Replica. Due to the hand made nature of our artifacts, some variations may exist from piece to piece.
